House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is now clutching his pearls about potential supplemental funding for military operations in Iran, calling any such request "beyond the pale" due to lack of congressional details. Where was this fiscal responsibility when Democrats were shoveling billions to Ukraine with zero accountability?

Jeffries slammed the Trump administration and congressional Republicans for potentially moving toward Iran war funding without proper legislative oversight. The New York Democrat suddenly discovered the Constitution requires Congress to control the purse strings - a revelation that apparently escaped him during the Biden regime's Ukraine spending spree.

"Any request for supplemental funding for the conflict in Iran would be beyond the pale," Jeffries declared Monday, positioning himself as a defender of congressional authority. This is the same man who rubber-stamped over $100 billion for Ukraine without demanding receipts or exit strategies.

Selective Outrage From the Swamp

The timing of Jeffries' constitutional awakening is nothing short of laughable. For four years under Biden, Democrats treated the Treasury like their personal ATM for foreign adventures and woke pet projects. Now that President Trump is back in charge, suddenly they care about fiscal oversight?

"This selective outrage exposes the Democrat playbook perfectly - they'll fund any globalist agenda without question, but the moment America First policies emerge, they become budget hawks," one GOP source told reporters.

Patriots should see right through this charade. Jeffries isn't concerned about congressional oversight - he's terrified that Trump will actually defend American interests instead of enriching the military-industrial complex and foreign oligarchs.

The same Democrats who demanded we send advanced weapons to Eastern Europe are now crying about transparency when it comes to protecting American assets and allies in the Middle East. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Will Republicans cave to Democrat grandstanding, or will they remind Jeffries that elections have consequences? The American people voted for Trump's America First agenda - not more swamp theater from career politicians who sold out our country for four long years.

Finally someone is calling out this blatant double standard! How can Jeffries criticize Iran funding when they literally wrote a blank check to Ukraine with zero accountability? The hypocrisy is astounding.

Exactly! At least with Iran there's some strategic oversight discussion, but Ukraine got carte blanche.

As someone who served, I understand the complexities of foreign aid, but the selective outrage is what gets me. Either you're against endless funding or you're not - pick a lane, Hakeem!

Thank you for your service! You're absolutely right about the selective outrage - it's purely political.

I'm so tired of my tax dollars being thrown around overseas while our own infrastructure crumbles. Where's the consistency in their foreign policy priorities?
