Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is running scared, and it shows. The Kentucky congressman who has repeatedly betrayed President Trump and conservative principles is now desperately clinging to an old Trump endorsement in his latest campaign ad, hoping voters forget his long history of backstabbing the America First movement.
Massie's campaign is airing the pathetic ad as he scrambles to save his political career in the deep red state, where Trump remains wildly popular. But here's what the ad won't tell you: Massie has spent years feuding with Trump over fiscal matters, Israel, and other key conservative priorities.
This is classic RINO behavior, folks. When the heat is on, suddenly they're Trump's best friend. When it comes time to actually support the President's agenda, they're nowhere to be found.
A Pattern of Betrayal
Patriots remember Massie's history. While President Trump was fighting to secure our border, rebuild our military, and put America First, Massie was busy playing political games and undermining the conservative movement from within the Republican Party.
The timing of this ad is particularly telling. With Trump back in the White House and his approval ratings soaring as he delivers on his promises to deport illegal immigrants and restore American greatness, suddenly every RINO wants to claim they were on the Trump Train all along.
"You can't have it both ways. Either you're with the America First movement or you're against it. Massie has shown Kentucky voters exactly where he stands."
Kentucky deserves better than a fair-weather conservative who only remembers he's supposed to be on our side when election season rolls around. Real conservatives don't need to remind voters of their loyalty – their voting record speaks for itself.
The question Kentucky Republicans need to ask themselves is simple: Do they want a representative who fights for Trump's agenda every single day, or one who only pretends to support it when his political survival depends on it?
