The corruption and deception that has plagued Illinois Democrats for decades is on full display once again, as Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton's Senate campaign was caught fabricating an endorsement from civil rights icon Rev. Jesse Jackson.
Jackson's family was forced to publicly disavow the endorsement after Stratton's campaign brazenly included Jackson's name on Rainbow PUSH Coalition sample ballots without authorization. The fake endorsement was designed to mislead African American voters in the Democratic primary, showing just how low the party will stoop to manipulate their own base.
This isn't just campaign malpractice – it's fraud, plain and simple. Stratton's team deliberately misrepresented Jackson's support to gain an unfair advantage over her primary opponents, banking on the fact that most voters wouldn't fact-check their claims until after ballots were cast.
Illinois Democrats' Pattern of Deception
Patriots shouldn't be surprised by this latest scandal. Illinois has been ground zero for Democratic corruption for generations, from Rod Blagojevich trying to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat to the endless parade of Chicago politicians heading to federal prison.
Now we have Stratton following the same playbook – lie first, apologize later, and hope the damage is already done. It's the same strategy Democrats used nationwide during the Biden regime, spreading misinformation while accusing conservatives of being the real threat to democracy.
"This unauthorized use of Rev. Jackson's name shows the desperation of failing Democratic politicians who know they can't win on their actual record," said one Illinois Republican operative.
The Rainbow PUSH Coalition was forced into damage control mode, clarifying that Jackson had made no such endorsement and demanding the fraudulent materials be withdrawn immediately.
While President Trump continues delivering on his America First agenda and cleaning up the mess left by four years of Democratic failures, party operatives like Stratton are still playing the same dirty tricks that got them thrown out of power in the first place.
How many more fake endorsements and manufactured scandals will Illinois voters tolerate before they finally reject the culture of corruption that has destroyed their state?
