The Iranian terror regime is in full damage control mode after rumors exploded across international intelligence circles that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was secretly flown to Russia for life-saving surgery - raising serious questions about the stability of one of America's most dangerous enemies.
Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali desperately tried to quash the reports Tuesday, telling Russian state media TASS that claims about Khamenei's medical emergency are "nonsense." But his frantic denials only fuel more suspicion that Iran's brutal theocracy is crumbling from within.
"Until now, there have been numerous false reports about the health of the Supreme Leader of Iran," Jalali claimed, comparing the latest reports to previous "false" rumors about Khamenei's condition. Sure, nothing suspicious about having to repeatedly deny your dictator is dying, right?
Dead Officials, Missing Leaders
The timing couldn't be worse for the mullahs in Tehran. Multiple high-ranking Iranian officials have mysteriously died in recent months, while others have simply vanished from public view. Meanwhile, Iran's proxy terror networks across the Middle East are getting demolished by Israeli forces and facing pressure from Trump's renewed sanctions.
This is exactly what happens when terrorist regimes built on oppression and violence start to collapse - the lies become harder to maintain and the truth starts leaking out. Iran has spent decades funding Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terror groups while oppressing its own people and threatening American interests.
"The Iranian people deserve freedom from this murderous regime, and President Trump's maximum pressure campaign is working," said one former intelligence official.
With Trump back in the White House and his America First agenda in full swing, Iran's days of terrorizing the region with impunity are numbered. The regime knows it, which explains their increasingly desperate attempts to hide their weakness.
Patriots should celebrate every sign that this terror state is weakening. The question isn't whether Iran's brutal theocracy will fall - it's how quickly freedom will come to the Iranian people who have suffered under these monsters for far too long.
