America's so-called NATO "allies" are showing their true colors once again, abandoning the United States during a critical military operation simply because they can't stomach supporting President Trump—even when American lives are on the line.
According to Washington Examiner columnist Guy Benson, left-leaning European countries are deliberately withholding support for Operation Epic Fury, the U.S. military operation against Iran, because their "internal politics" prevent them from being seen as "helping" Trump.
Let that sink in, patriots. These nations would rather play political games than stand with America against the Iranian terrorist regime.
President Trump didn't mince words when he called out these fair-weather allies on Tuesday, scolding NATO members for their shameful abandonment of their treaty obligations. But in classic Trump fashion, he made it clear America doesn't need their help anyway.
"We don't need them," Trump declared, though he rightfully pointed out that NATO allies should be fulfilling their commitments to collective defense.
This disgraceful behavior from European leaders exposes everything wrong with the globalist mindset that has infected Western governments. When push comes to shove, these countries care more about virtue-signaling to their woke domestic audiences than honoring their commitments to the nation that has protected them for decades.
For years, America has bankrolled European defense while these same nations lecture us about "multilateralism" and "international cooperation." Now, when we're confronting Iran's terrorist activities that threaten global stability, they're nowhere to be found.
This is exactly why Trump's "America First" approach resonates with millions of patriots who are sick of being taken advantage of by ungrateful allies. While European politicians worry about their poll numbers, President Trump is doing what needs to be done to protect American interests.
The silver lining? This betrayal proves Trump was right all along about NATO freeloaders and fake allies. America is stronger when we stop depending on nations that will abandon us the moment it becomes politically inconvenient.
Once again, it's America standing alone against evil—and that's exactly how we prefer it.
