DEEP STATE DOJ Claims 'No Politics' in Paramount Merger as Democrats CRY About Trump Ties

The Biden-era holdovers at the Justice Department are scrambling to distance themselves from political interference claims as Democrats launch yet another manufactured controversy over a major media merger—this time targeting Paramount CEO David Ellison simply because his father has ties to President Trump.

Acting Assistant Attorney General of the DOJ's Antitrust Division made the laughable promise Wednesday that "politics will not play a role" in reviewing the massive Paramount-Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery merger. But Patriots know better—this is the same Deep State apparatus that weaponized federal agencies against Trump for years.

What's really happening here? Democrats are panicking because they're losing their stranglehold on Hollywood and mainstream media. They can't stand the thought that anyone connected to Trump might have influence in the entertainment industry that's been their propaganda machine for decades.

The Real Story the Legacy Media Won't Tell You

David Ellison's only "crime" is having a father with business relationships involving President Trump. That's it. But in the twisted world of radical Democrats, even distant connections to our legitimately elected president are grounds for government interference in private business deals.

"This is exactly the kind of selective enforcement and political targeting we've seen from federal agencies for years," said one industry insider who requested anonymity. "Suddenly they care about 'media consolidation' when it might benefit someone they can't control."

Meanwhile, where were these same Democrats when left-wing billionaires like George Soros were buying up media properties across the country? Crickets. Where's their outrage over Big Tech's stranglehold on information? Nowhere to be found.

The Trump administration has made it clear that fair competition and free markets—not political witch hunts—will guide antitrust decisions. But don't expect the mainstream media to report that honestly.

Americans deserve a media landscape that isn't controlled by woke corporations and Deep State bureaucrats. Will the DOJ actually conduct an objective review, or will they cave to Democrat pressure and partisan politics once again? We're watching closely, and so should every freedom-loving American who's tired of government picking winners and losers based on political connections.

I'm genuinely curious about the legal precedent here - can anyone explain what specific anti-trust concerns they're claiming? Seems like selective enforcement to me.

Of course the DOJ claims 'no politics' - they've been playing politics for years and suddenly want us to believe they're neutral? The deep state doesn't want Trump having any influence in media, that's what this is really about.

Exactly right Mike. They're terrified of losing their stranglehold on the narrative.

The Democrats crying about Trump ties while ignoring all the actual corruption in their own party is peak hypocrisy. My family cancelled our Paramount+ subscription last month anyway - tired of their woke content pushing leftist propaganda on our kids.

Same here! Switched to Daily Wire+ and couldn't be happier with actually conservative content.
