FINALLY: GOP Senator Calls for PRIVATIZING Failed TSA and Air Traffic Control

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) is taking aim at two of the federal government's most dysfunctional agencies, calling for the Transportation Security Administration to be privately contracted and air traffic control to be completely privatized.

Speaking on Fox Business Network's "The Bottom Line" Wednesday, Johnson highlighted exactly what Patriots have been saying for years – these government-run systems are failing Americans while wasting billions of taxpayer dollars.

"The TSA should have been set up to be privately contracted so that there would not be disruptions like the current one," Johnson stated, referring to ongoing operational failures plaguing airports nationwide.

This is the kind of bold thinking we need more of in Washington. While Democrats want to throw more money at broken government agencies, Johnson is proposing actual solutions that put efficiency and results first.

Private Sector Success vs. Government Failure

Johnson's proposal aligns perfectly with President Trump's DOGE initiative led by Elon Musk to slash government waste and improve efficiency. Why should Americans continue suffering through TSA security theater and air traffic control delays when private companies could do the job better, faster, and cheaper?

The facts speak for themselves. Countries like Canada have successfully privatized their air traffic control systems with impressive results – better service, lower costs, and fewer delays. Meanwhile, our government-run system continues to frustrate travelers and burden taxpayers.

"We need to get the federal government out of services that the private sector can handle more efficiently," Johnson emphasized during the interview.

This isn't just about airports – it's about fundamentally rethinking the role of government in our daily lives. The administrative state has grown fat and lazy, providing subpar service while demanding ever-larger budgets.

With Trump back in the White House and Republicans controlling Congress, now is the perfect time to pursue these common-sense reforms. The American people deserve better than the current system of government incompetence masquerading as "security" and "safety."

Will other GOP senators have the courage to join Johnson in taking on these bloated bureaucracies, or will they continue protecting the swamp that voters sent Trump back to drain?

FINALLY someone with backbone! The government has no business running these operations when the private sector could do it better, faster, and cheaper.

About time! I've been saying this for years - the TSA is a bloated bureaucracy that hasn't made us any safer, just more frustrated. Private security at airports worked fine before 9/11 and works great in other countries like the UK.

Exactly! Look at how much more efficient private companies are compared to government agencies.

I fly for work constantly and the TSA lines are absolutely ridiculous. Last week I waited 2 hours at DFW even with PreCheck! How would privatization actually work though - would airlines handle their own security or would it be contracted out to private companies?

Most likely contracted to specialized private security firms, similar to how it works in Europe. Much more accountability that way.
