The ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee pressed Waltz during a heated exchange about President Trump's decision to overhaul how humanitarian supplies flow into Gaza. But here's what DeLauro didn't want to talk about – the fact that nearly two dozen United Nations Relief and Works Agency employees have been exposed as Hamas operatives.
This is exactly the kind of willful blindness that got us into this mess in the first place. While Trump is cleaning house and ensuring American taxpayer dollars don't fund terrorism, Democrats like DeLauro are more concerned with attacking our own officials than addressing the real threat.
Trump Administration Takes Action
The Trump-Waltz team has implemented major reforms to Gaza aid distribution, recognizing what should be obvious to anyone paying attention: we cannot allow terrorist organizations to hijack humanitarian assistance. These changes ensure aid reaches genuine civilians while cutting off Hamas's ability to weaponize international charity.
But instead of applauding these security measures, DeLauro chose to grandstand and attack Waltz for doing his job. It's the same old playbook from the left – ignore the terrorists, attack the patriots trying to protect America.
