Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell, the scandal-plagued politician who famously got honey-trapped by a Chinese spy, has been caught red-handed taking massive cash from California's PG&E utility company while simultaneously promising voters he'll lower their energy bills as governor.
According to a bombshell report, Swalwell has raked in a whopping $113,000 from PG&E – the same utility giant that has been price-gouging California families with some of the highest electricity rates in the nation. Talk about having your cake and eating it too!
This is the same Eric Swalwell who has been touring California telling struggling families that he'll fight for lower energy costs if they elect him governor. But behind closed doors, he's been stuffing his campaign coffers with money from the very company keeping those rates sky-high.
Classic Democrat Hypocrisy
Patriots, this is exactly the kind of swamp corruption that President Trump has been fighting against for years. Here we have a Democrat politician literally being bankrolled by the corporate interests he claims to oppose – and California voters are supposed to trust him?
Remember, this is the same Swalwell who was compromised by Chinese intelligence operative Fang Fang, yet somehow still sits on the House Intelligence Committee. Now we find out he's also a puppet for PG&E, the utility company that has been blamed for deadly wildfires and astronomical energy bills that are crushing California's middle class.
"How can Californians trust Eric Swalwell to lower their energy bills when he's taking six-figure payouts from the company keeping those bills high?"
While hardworking California families struggle to pay their electric bills – some of the highest in the nation – Swalwell has been living high on the hog thanks to PG&E's generosity. The utility company clearly expects a return on their investment if this corrupt politician somehow becomes governor.
California Deserves Better
This revelation exposes the fundamental corruption of California's Democrat machine. They promise relief to suffering families while secretly taking money from the very corporations causing that suffering.
California voters need to ask themselves: Do they really want a governor who's already been bought and paid for by PG&E? The Golden State's families deserve leaders who will actually fight the corporate interests, not politicians who are already in their back pocket.
