The radical left's hypocrisy reached peak absurdity this week as far-left activists from CodePink were caught staying in five-star luxury hotels in Communist Cuba while the island nation suffered through another devastating total blackout that left millions of ordinary Cubans without power, food, or basic necessities.
These champagne socialists flew to Cuba on sponsored flights specifically to protest President Trump's renewed sanctions against the brutal Castro regime – all while enjoying the kind of luxury accommodations that regular Cubans could never dream of accessing under their 'beloved' communist system.
Think about the stunning irony here, Patriots. These CodePink activists are literally living it up in capitalist-style luxury resorts, probably sipping mojitos by the pool, while the very people they claim to support are sitting in the dark without electricity, running water, or hope.
The Real Cuba These Activists Ignore
While CodePink enjoys their five-star accommodations, ordinary Cubans are facing:
• Complete power grid failures lasting days
• Severe food shortages and rationing
• Lack of basic medical supplies
• Crumbling infrastructure decades behind the modern world
• Zero political freedoms or basic human rights
But apparently, none of that matters to these privileged American leftists who think they know what's best for the Cuban people better than the Cuban people themselves.
"It's the ultimate example of limousine liberalism – condemning American policies from the comfort of luxury hotels while ignoring the suffering of the very people they claim to champion," said one Cuba policy expert.
President Trump's sanctions exist for a reason: to pressure the communist regime to respect human rights and stop oppressing its own people. But CodePink would rather attack Trump than stand with Cuban freedom fighters risking their lives for basic liberty.
This is what the radical left always does – they romanticize socialism and communism from their comfortable positions in free, capitalist America, never having to actually live under the boot of the regimes they defend.
How can any American take CodePink seriously when they're literally vacationing in Communist Cuba while lecturing us about 'justice'?
