The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA is having a complete meltdown over President Trump's common-sense decision to station Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers at airports across the nation. In a hysterical statement, the union actually called Trump's enforcement of immigration law an "invasion" - apparently more concerned about protecting illegal aliens than supporting American workers.
This is exactly the kind of woke virtue signaling that drove working-class Americans to vote for Trump in the first place. While millions of patriots are celebrating the President's swift action to secure our borders and remove criminal aliens, this union leadership is more worried about optics than actual safety.
The union's bizarre statement urged the government to "pay Transportation Security Administration officers instead" - completely missing the point that ICE enforcement and TSA security serve two different but equally important functions. It's almost as if they don't understand that enforcing immigration law is actually part of keeping Americans safe.
America First vs. Globalist Agenda
What's really happening here is another example of institutional capture by the radical left. Union bosses who claim to represent American workers are actively opposing policies that protect American jobs from illegal competition. How does that make sense?
President Trump promised mass deportations during his campaign, and he's delivering exactly what voters demanded. The American people spoke loud and clear in November 2024 - they want our immigration laws enforced, our borders secured, and our sovereignty respected.
"Flight Attendants will not allow the TSA and the frontline Transportation Security Officers who keep our skies safe to be displaced by ICE enforcement activities," the union declared.
Notice how they frame law enforcement as the problem, not the illegal aliens who broke our laws to get here in the first place. This is the upside-down thinking that Trump was elected to fix.
While union leadership throws their tantrum, real Americans understand that airports are critical entry and exit points that must be properly monitored. President Trump is simply doing his job - something the previous administration refused to do for four long years.
The question patriots should be asking: whose side are these union bosses really on?
