Patriots in Ohio and Indiana can breathe easier knowing their elections just got a whole lot more secure. Both states have officially banned the election-rigging scheme known as ranked-choice voting (RCV), dealing another crushing blow to the left's ongoing assault on our democratic processes.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 63 into law on Tuesday, officially prohibiting the use of ranked-choice voting—also called "instant runoff voting"—in all Ohio elections. The legislation gives the secretary of state authority to step in should any Ohio city or county attempt to implement this confusing ballot manipulation tactic.

Indiana followed suit with similar legislation, making it crystal clear that Hoosier voters won't be subjected to the deliberately confusing ranked-choice system that Democrats love because it allows them to game the system and steal victories from rightfully elected conservative candidates.

Why Democrats LOVE Ranked-Choice Voting

Here's what the mainstream media won't tell you: ranked-choice voting isn't about "voter choice"—it's about election manipulation. This convoluted system allows liberal candidates who lose on the first ballot to somehow "win" through backroom mathematical gymnastics that most voters can't even understand.

We've seen this playbook before. In Alaska, ranked-choice voting helped Democrat Mary Peltola steal a congressional seat that should have gone to a Republican. The system is designed to confuse voters and produce outcomes that the establishment wants, not what the people actually voted for.

"Ranked-choice voting creates chaos, confusion, and opens the door to election manipulation," said one election integrity advocate. "Ohio and Indiana are protecting their citizens from this deliberate assault on transparent democracy."

The timing couldn't be better. As President Trump continues draining the swamp in Washington, states across America are stepping up to protect election integrity at the local level. Ohio and Indiana join Florida, Tennessee, and other red states that have recognized ranked-choice voting for what it really is: a tool for subverting the will of the people.

This is what winning looks like, folks. When patriots stand together and refuse to let the left corrupt our most sacred democratic processes, we can stop their schemes in their tracks. How many more states will follow Ohio and Indiana's lead in banning this electoral nightmare?

As someone who moved from California to Indiana partly to escape liberal election schemes, this makes me even more grateful for my decision to relocate here.

Thank God! Finally some states standing up for election integrity. RCV is just another way for liberals to manipulate outcomes when they can't win fair and square.

Exactly right! Keep it simple - one person, one vote, highest count wins.

Can someone explain how RCV actually works? I keep hearing it's confusing but want to understand why it's so problematic.

It's basically a way to water down conservative votes by making people rank multiple candidates. Your second and third choices can end up helping candidates you actually oppose.

This is huge! Now we need Texas, Florida, and other red states to follow suit before the left tries to sneak this into more places.

RCV is designed to benefit establishment candidates and hurt outsiders who represent real change. Good riddance!

This! It's all about protecting the uniparty from actual reformers.

I tried to figure out one of those RCV ballots from Maine last year and gave up halfway through. If longtime voters can't understand it, how is that democratic?

Proud of my state today! We saw what happened in Alaska with that RCV mess and said no thank you.
