Ohio and Indiana have delivered a crushing blow to the left's ongoing assault on election integrity by officially banning ranked-choice voting (RCV) – the Democrats' latest scheme to manipulate elections and confuse voters into supporting their radical agenda.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed legislation (SB 63) this week that permanently prohibits the use of ranked-choice voting, also known as "instant runoff voting," in all state and local elections. The new law gives Ohio's Secretary of State the authority to immediately shut down any city or municipality that attempts to implement this confusing and manipulative voting system.
Indiana followed suit with similar legislation, joining a growing coalition of conservative states that refuse to let liberal activists corrupt their election processes with this deliberate chaos.
Why Liberals LOVE Ranked-Choice Voting
Make no mistake – ranked-choice voting isn't about "democracy" or "voter choice." It's a calculated strategy designed to help weak Democratic candidates sneak into office by gaming the system. Instead of the clear, straightforward "one person, one vote" principle our founders established, RCV forces voters to rank multiple candidates, creating confusion and allowing mathematical manipulation to override the will of the people.
This system has already shown its true colors in places like Alaska, where it helped elect a Democrat to Congress in a traditionally red state. The left knows they can't win on their policies, so they're trying to rig the game itself.
"Ranked-choice voting is nothing more than a liberal attempt to dilute conservative votes and install candidates who would never win in a fair, head-to-head election," a Ohio Republican lawmaker told supporters.
The timing of these bans couldn't be more critical. With President Trump's second-term agenda moving full speed ahead and conservative momentum building nationwide, Democrats are desperately searching for new ways to claw back power. They've tried everything from Russian collusion hoaxes to weaponizing the justice system – now they're targeting the fundamental mechanics of how we vote.
Ohio and Indiana patriots can sleep soundly knowing their governors stood firm against this electoral manipulation. But the fight isn't over – every conservative state needs to take action before the left's voting schemes spread like a virus through our republic.
Will your state be next to protect election integrity, or will you let the swamp creatures corrupt your voice at the ballot box?
