A career criminal who already served prison time for threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump is back behind bars after allegedly making MORE death threats against our 47th President—proving once again that our justice system's revolving door is putting American lives at risk.
Diedrich Holgate, 47, was sentenced to a measly year and a half in prison after threatening to kill President Trump nearly three dozen times through social media posts, phone calls, and voicemails during the 2024 campaign. But apparently, 18 months wasn't enough to teach this deranged individual that threatening the life of the President of the United States has consequences.
"I Have the Right to Kill the President"
According to reports, Holgate's original threats included the chilling declaration: "I have the right to kill the president. I want to kill you." This wasn't some one-off angry post—this was a sustained campaign of terror against the man who would become our president.
And what did our supposedly tough justice system do? They gave him 18 months and sent him on his way. Now, Patriots, we're seeing the predictable result of this soft-on-crime approach.
"This is exactly why President Trump has been calling for law and order. When you don't take threats against our elected officials seriously, you invite more violence."
While the mainstream media obsesses over January 6th prisoners who are still rotting in jail for misdemeanor trespassing, actual criminals making direct death threats against President Trump get slap-on-the-wrist sentences and walk free to threaten again.
Justice System FAILURE
This case exposes a disturbing pattern: our justice system treats Trump supporters like domestic terrorists while giving actual threats against President Trump minimal consequences. How many more Diedrich Holgates are out there, emboldened by weak sentences and liberal prosecutors who care more about political theater than protecting our President?
Every American should be asking: If threatening to kill the President of the United States only gets you 18 months, what message does that send to other unhinged individuals? This isn't just about President Trump—it's about the dangerous precedent of treating threats against our highest office as minor inconveniences rather than serious crimes against our Republic.
