Texas state Senator James Talarico (D) is once again proving why radical leftists have no business lecturing Americans about Christianity. The woke Democrat is now twisting a pastor's biblical reference to launch another unhinged attack on "Christian Nationalism" – the left's favorite boogeyman.

Pastor Brooks Potteiger made comments about Talarico needing to be "crucified with Christ" – a clear biblical reference to dying to sin and being born again, as any actual Christian would understand. But Talarico, desperately trying to gain traction in his long-shot Senate bid, decided to weaponize the pastor's words for political gain.

The liberal politician fired back on X with typical leftist virtue signaling: "Jesus loves. Christian Nationalism kills. You may pray for my death, Pastor, but I still love you."

"This is exactly the kind of dishonest manipulation we've come to expect from Democrats who claim to be Christians while promoting policies that go against biblical values," said one Texas conservative activist.

Let's be clear about what's really happening here: Talarico is deliberately misrepresenting a pastor's biblical language to score cheap political points and demonize faithful Christians. The phrase "crucified with Christ" comes straight from Galatians 2:20, referring to spiritual rebirth – not physical death threats.

But facts have never stopped Democrats from playing victim when it serves their agenda. Talarico sees an opportunity to paint Christians as violent extremists while positioning himself as the "loving" alternative. It's the same tired playbook the left uses to attack anyone who believes America should embrace its Christian heritage.

The Real Agenda Behind the Outrage

This manufactured controversy reveals the true face of today's Democrat Party. They'll twist Scripture, attack pastors, and demonize millions of faithful Americans – all while claiming to represent "love" and "tolerance."

Texas patriots deserve better than politicians who exploit their faith for campaign fundraising emails. When will voters finally see through these obvious political stunts and elect leaders who actually respect our Christian values?

This is exactly what they do - twist our words and take everything out of context to push their narrative. I've seen this happen to pastors in my own community who simply preach biblical values and suddenly they're labeled as 'extremists.'

Same here! My pastor got attacked on social media just for saying marriage is between a man and woman. They're trying to silence Biblical truth.

What exactly did the pastor actually say? I'd like to hear the full context before these liberals twisted his words around.
