Texas State Senator James Talarico is playing the victim card again, this time crying "Christian Nationalism" after a pastor called out his phony religious posturing with a simple Biblical reference.

Pastor Brooks Potteiger committed the apparently unforgivable sin of suggesting Talarico should be "crucified with Christ" - a standard Christian teaching about dying to self and sin that any seminary student would recognize. But instead of engaging with the theological point, Talarico ran straight to social media to virtue signal.

"Jesus loves. Christian Nationalism kills. You may pray for my death, Pastor, but I still love you," Talarico posted on X, completely twisting the pastor's Biblical reference into some kind of death threat.

The Left's War on Biblical Christianity

This is exactly the kind of manipulation we've come to expect from progressive politicians who want to use Christianity as a political prop while attacking anyone who actually believes what the Bible teaches. Talarico knows full well that "being crucified with Christ" is basic Christian doctrine - Romans 6:6, Galatians 2:20. But why let Biblical literacy get in the way of a good victim narrative?

"Christian Nationalism" has become the left's favorite boogeyman - their way of attacking traditional believers who won't bow to the woke mob.

The real story here isn't a pastor making "death threats." It's a Democratic politician so desperate for relevance that he'll twist Scripture and attack faithful Christians to score political points. This is the same crowd that lectures us about "tolerance" while trying to silence pastors who dare speak Biblical truth.

Patriots, this is why we can't let these wolves in sheep's clothing redefine Christianity to fit their progressive agenda. When politicians start throwing around terms like "Christian Nationalism" to attack faithful believers, you know they're more interested in power than the Gospel.

How long will we let the left weaponize our faith against us?

This reminds me of when our pastor preached about traditional marriage and half the congregation got offended. The Word of God doesn't change just because society does!

So true! God's word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Politicians need to remember they're not above divine authority.

Finally, a pastor with the courage to speak biblical truth! We need more church leaders willing to stand up against the progressive agenda instead of cowering to political correctness.

Amen! Too many pastors are afraid to preach the hard truths from Scripture these days.

Typical Democrat playbook - when confronted with truth, immediately claim victimhood. What exactly did the pastor say that was so offensive? Was he just quoting Scripture?
