Finally, a Republican with the backbone to say what millions of Americans are thinking every time they're forced to endure the TSA's security theater nightmare at airports across the country.

Representative Rich McCormick (R-GA) dropped a bombshell on Wednesday's broadcast of NewsNation's "The Hill," declaring that the Transportation Security Administration should be completely privatized at every airport in America. And frankly, it's about time someone in Congress had the courage to state the obvious.

While discussing the ongoing DHS shutdown drama, McCormick didn't mince words about what's really happening here. He pointed out that Democrats are desperately trying to "defund law enforcement" while simultaneously propping up the bloated federal bureaucracy that has turned air travel into a humiliating ordeal for law-abiding Americans.

Here's the kicker - TSA privatization already EXISTS at some airports, and guess what? Those airports run smoother, faster, and with better customer service than their government-run counterparts. It's almost like the private sector actually cares about efficiency and results, unlike federal bureaucrats collecting paychecks regardless of performance.

The TSA Scam Exposed

Let's be honest about what the TSA really is - it's security theater designed to make you FEEL safer while government agents rifle through your belongings and violate your constitutional rights. Since when did "papers, please" become acceptable in the land of the free?

"We want to see TSA privatized like it already is at some airports," McCormick stated, cutting through the bureaucratic nonsense that has plagued American air travel for over two decades.

This isn't just about faster lines or better service - though those would be welcome improvements. This is about rolling back the massive expansion of federal power that occurred after 9/11 and never got rolled back. The swamp creatures in Washington love their power, and they'll fight tooth and nail to keep control over every aspect of American life.

McCormick's proposal aligns perfectly with President Trump's DOGE initiative led by Elon Musk to slash government waste and eliminate unnecessary federal agencies. Why should taxpayers fund an army of federal TSA agents when private companies can do the job better, faster, and cheaper?

The question patriots should be asking: How many more decades will we tolerate government incompetence in the name of "security" when proven alternatives already exist?

This is what real conservatism looks like - getting government out of areas where private sector can do better!

FINALLY someone with backbone! TSA has been nothing but security theater since day one. Private companies would actually have to compete for contracts and provide real service instead of this government monopoly nightmare we deal with every time we fly.

Exactly right! Competition breeds excellence, government monopolies breed incompetence.

About time! How much taxpayer money gets wasted on TSA bloat every year while we get treated like criminals for wanting to travel?

Billions! And for what? They fail most of their own security tests anyway.

I've flown through San Francisco where they use private security and the difference is night and day - faster, more professional, actually respectful to passengers. Why isn't this everywhere already?
