Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) is unleashing fire on Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) for jetting out of Washington D.C. just as House Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to attach the SAVE America Act to critical Department of Homeland Security funding.
"Looks like Leader John Thune is on his way out of town with his private escort," Fine blasted, calling out what many patriots see as typical establishment Republican behavior - talking tough during campaigns but going soft when it's time to deliver.
The timing couldn't be worse. House Republicans are making a renewed push to tie the SAVE America Act - which would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections - to DHS funding bills. This should be a no-brainer for any Republican who actually believes in election integrity, but apparently Thune has other priorities.
Where Are Our Leaders When We Need Them?
This is exactly the kind of swamp behavior that drove millions of Americans to support President Trump in the first place. While everyday patriots are demanding action on election security, establishment Republicans like Thune are more interested in their comfortable lifestyles than fighting for the America First agenda.
The SAVE America Act represents common-sense legislation that would ensure only American citizens can vote in American elections. It's supported by overwhelming majorities of voters across party lines, yet here we are watching Republican "leadership" treat it like an afterthought.
"We sent Republicans to Washington to fight, not to take luxury trips while our election system remains vulnerable to fraud," one conservative activist told reporters.
Fine's criticism highlights a growing rift between America First Republicans who want to deliver on promises and the GOP establishment that seems more comfortable playing political games than securing our elections.
With Trump back in the White House demanding results, will Thune step up and lead, or will he continue to prove that some Republicans are more interested in perks than principles? The American people are watching, and they're not impressed with business as usual from the swamp.
