Patriots, we've got some excellent news coming out of the House Judiciary Committee that shows Republicans are serious about reining in judicial overreach and restoring constitutional order to our justice system.
On Thursday, the committee passed H.R. 8065, a critical reform bill that strips federal district courts of their ability to appoint interim U.S. Attorneys when vacancies arise. Instead, this authority returns to where it constitutionally belongs—with the Attorney General, who serves at the pleasure of the President.
This might sound like bureaucratic shuffling, but make no mistake: this is a HUGE victory against the Deep State's attempts to subvert the will of the American people. For too long, activist federal judges have been able to install their handpicked prosecutors when U.S. Attorney positions become vacant, essentially allowing the judicial branch to control both prosecution and adjudication.
Think about how twisted that system was. Unelected federal judges—many of whom were appointed by Obama or other liberal presidents—could literally choose the prosecutors who would bring cases before their own courts. Talk about a rigged system!
Restoring Constitutional Order
Under President Trump's leadership and with Attorney General Pam Bondi at the helm of the Justice Department, Republicans are methodically dismantling the weaponized bureaucracy that plagued our nation for years. This legislation ensures that when the people elect a president, that president—through his appointed Attorney General—maintains control over federal prosecutions.
The House Judiciary GOP announced the measure's passage, marking another win in the broader effort to drain the swamp and restore accountability to our justice system. No more shadow appointments. No more judicial branch power grabs. No more Deep State prosecutors operating beyond the reach of elected officials.
This reform comes at a perfect time, as the Trump-Vance administration works to clean house at the Department of Justice and install prosecutors who will actually serve the American people rather than the political establishment.
How many more of these common-sense reforms do we need before Americans realize the system was deliberately rigged against us? It's time to celebrate these victories while demanding our representatives keep fighting for constitutional government.
