A Virginia Democrat just said the quiet part out loud – and it's music to patriots' ears. Rep. James Walkinshaw (D-VA) admitted on CNN that Democrats "might not get" the changes to ICE and CBP that they desperately want, essentially waving the white flag on stopping President Trump's immigration enforcement revolution.
Speaking on CNN's "The Arena" Friday, Walkinshaw made a telling comparison that reveals just how defeated the Democrats really are. He said the immigration changes "might be like the Affordable Care Act premium tax credits, that we have to take it to the" – essentially admitting Democrats are operating from a position of complete weakness.
This is what surrender looks like, folks. After years of screaming "Abolish ICE" and demanding open borders, Democrats are now quietly admitting they can't stop the Trump-Vance administration's America First agenda.
The Deep State's Last Stand Crumbles
Walkinshaw's defeatist attitude comes as Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and the Trump administration are systematically dismantling the Biden regime's catch-and-release disaster. With Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress and a mandate from the American people, Trump's mass deportation operation is steamrolling over Democrat obstruction.
"The American people spoke loud and clear in November – they want our immigration laws enforced and our borders secured. Democrats can cry about it all they want, but we're getting the job done."
What's particularly delicious about this admission is that it comes from a Virginia Democrat – a state that's been overrun by the consequences of illegal immigration thanks to Democrat policies. Even blue-state politicians are starting to realize the political winds have shifted dramatically.
While Walkinshaw and his fellow Democrats wring their hands about "changes to ICE and CBP," real Americans are celebrating the return of law and order to our immigration system. Trump promised the largest deportation operation in American history, and he's delivering.
The question isn't whether Democrats will "get" the anti-enforcement changes they want – it's how many more will publicly admit defeat before Trump finishes cleaning up their mess?
