REVOLT: Rep. Burchett DEMANDS New Senate Leadership After Thune IGNORES Trump's SAVE America Act

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) is calling for a complete overhaul of Senate Republican leadership after Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) essentially ignored President Trump's SAVE America Act while the Department of Homeland Security remains shuttered.

The Tennessee conservative didn't mince words, telling Senate lawmakers they need to "get back to work" instead of gallivanting off on spring recess while Americans suffer from leadership failures. This is exactly the kind of swamp behavior that Trump voters thought they had defeated in November.

RINO Leadership Fails America Again

House Republicans overwhelmingly backed Trump's agenda, but once again, it's dying in the Senate under Thune's weak leadership. Sound familiar? This is the same playbook we saw during Trump's first term - House conservatives do the heavy lifting while Senate RINOs provide cover for the administrative state.

"We need leadership that will actually fight for the America First agenda," Burchett said, echoing the frustrations of millions of patriots who are tired of watching establishment Republicans cave to pressure.

The American people didn't vote for more of the same swamp politics. They voted for Trump's vision, and that includes securing our homeland.

While Thune plays political games, the DHS shutdown continues - ironically highlighting just how bloated and unnecessary much of the federal bureaucracy really is. Maybe this "crisis" is actually showing Americans that we can function just fine without an army of federal agents breathing down our necks.

Time for New Blood

Burchett's call for new Senate leadership isn't just about one bill - it's about a pattern of failure. How many times will conservatives watch their priorities get watered down or ignored entirely by Republican leadership that's more concerned with cocktail parties than campaign promises?

The SAVE America Act represents everything Trump campaigned on: securing our borders, protecting American workers, and putting America First. If Thune can't get behind that basic agenda, what exactly is he doing leading Republicans?

Patriots across the country are watching, and they're taking notes. The 2026 midterms may be months away, but the grassroots uprising against establishment Republicans who refuse to fight is already building momentum.

Thune was a mistake from day one. We warned everyone he was just McConnell 2.0 but nobody listened.

The swamp runs deep, even in Republican leadership. Time to drain it completely and get people who will actually fight for America First policies.

Finally! Someone with backbone is calling out the RINO establishment. Burchett is absolutely right - if Thune won't support Trump's agenda, he needs to go!

Burchett has been solid on these issues. We need more like him willing to fight.

As someone who served this country, election integrity should be non-negotiable. I've seen what happens in countries where people don't trust their elections - we can't let that happen here. Support the SAVE Act!

This is exactly why we can't trust establishment Republicans. They promise to support Trump during elections then stab him in the back once they're in office.

I'm confused about something - wasn't the SAVE Act already passed by the House? Why isn't the Senate taking it up for a vote?

Senate leadership has been sitting on it for months. Classic McConnell-style obstruction, now continued under Thune.
