Just three weeks into President Trump's second term, the swamp creatures are already showing their true colors. While Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are working overtime to fulfill Trump's promise of mass deportations, weak-kneed Senate Republicans are positioning themselves to undermine the entire operation.
The real issue isn't funding β it's whether these establishment Republicans will let radical Democrats dictate the terms of America's immigration enforcement. And frankly, their track record suggests they're ready to fold faster than a cheap suit.
"The larger concern is not whether ICE and CBP can be funded, but whether Democrats will be allowed to set the conditions,"sources warn, highlighting the very real threat that Senate RINOs pose to Trump's America First agenda.
Patriots across the nation didn't vote for compromise on illegal immigration. They voted for the largest deportation operation in American history. They voted to secure our borders, protect our communities, and put American citizens first. Yet here we are, watching the same old establishment playbook unfold in real time.
The House Must Hold the Line
Thank God for House Republicans, who understand what's at stake. While Senate Republicans wring their hands and worry about what the Washington Post will say about them, the House stands ready to fully fund Trump's deportation machine without caving to Democrat ultimatums.
Every day these Senate Republicans hesitate, more illegal aliens pour across our border. Every moment they spend negotiating with Democrats who want open borders is another moment American families remain at risk from criminal aliens who should have been deported years ago.
Americans are watching. We see which Republicans are fighting for us and which ones are fighting for their next Georgetown dinner party invitation. The question is: will Senate Republicans finally show some backbone, or will the House have to drag them kicking and screaming into keeping their campaign promises?
