The spectacular fall of San Francisco's so-called "civil rights queen" reached rock bottom Monday as former Human Rights Commission Director Sheryl Davis was slapped with multiple felony charges for allegedly running a massive fraud scheme with taxpayer dollars.
Davis, who once wielded enormous power as the city's top civil rights watchdog and led the controversial "Dream Keeper Initiative," was arrested alongside nonprofit executive James Spingola on charges involving conflicts of interest and diverting public funds for personal gain. Talk about your progressive hypocrisy in action, folks.
Social media erupted as news of the arrests spread. "Top SF official who led Dream Keeper program charged with felonies," posted @stevewells11, noting Davis's "spectacular fall" from her position as "San Francisco's most powerful civil rights watchdog."
This is the same woman whose followers in the community group MegaBlack SF used to call her "queen." Well, queens can fall hard when they're caught with their hands in the cookie jar – or in this case, the public treasury.
Another 'Social Justice Warrior' Exposed
The charges paint a damning picture of exactly the kind of corruption that Patriots have come to expect from liberal Democrat strongholds like San Francisco. While Davis preached about equity and justice, she was allegedly lining her own pockets with money meant to help the very communities she claimed to serve.
"Former San Francisco official Sheryl Davis and nonprofit executive James Spingola were arrested Monday and charged with multiple felonies in a scheme involving conflicts of interest and the diversion of city funds for personal gain," reported @JASmius on social media, highlighting the scope of the alleged fraud.
This is what happens when you give unchecked power to woke bureaucrats who think the rules don't apply to them. The Dream Keeper Initiative was supposed to help San Francisco's communities – instead, it looks like it was helping line the pockets of connected insiders.
How many more of these so-called "social justice" programs are really just slush funds for liberal activists? And how long will taxpayers continue footing the bill for this kind of corruption masquerading as compassion?
