Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is under fire after delivering what critics are calling a "word salad" response when asked whether the world would be better off without Iran's ayatollah – somehow managing to attack President Trump instead of condemning the terrorist regime in Tehran.
During a Fox News interview, when asked "Would we all not be better off if the radicals in Iran did not make decisions for the people?" El-Sayed shockingly responded: "Radicalism is bad, which is why MAGA is so ridiculous."
The stunning comparison between America's democratically elected president and Iran's brutal theocratic dictatorship sent shockwaves through social media, with one user posting: "BREAKING: Democrat Abdul El-Sayed compares the Trump admin to the Ayatollah."
"Far-left Michigan Senate candidate @AbdulElSayed says his upcoming rally with anti-American Marxist @hasanthehun is no different from his appearance on @FoxNews. El-Sayed is the same guy who didn't want to talk about the extermination of the Ayatollah. Michigan deserves better," Team Trump posted on social media.
But El-Sayed's troubles don't stop there. The radical Democrat is also facing criticism for announcing campaign rallies with far-left antisemitic streamer Hasan Piker, known for his anti-American Marxist views. Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers has already called out this disturbing alliance.
This is the state of today's Democratic Party, folks – unable to condemn actual terrorists while comparing our America First president to murderous dictators. El-Sayed's refusal to clearly state that eliminating the ayatollah would benefit humanity shows exactly where his loyalties lie, and it's not with the American people.
Michigan voters deserve a senator who puts America first, not someone who equates our constitutional republic with Iran's terrorist regime. Is this really the kind of representation Michiganders want in the Senate?
