In a stunning betrayal that has left conservatives and foreign policy experts scratching their heads, France has once again proven that America's so-called European "allies" can't be trusted when the chips are down. The French government joined forces with communist China and Putin's Russia to block a critical UN Security Council resolution that would have authorized the use of military force to defend Gulf shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
The resolution, drafted by Bahrain and backed by Gulf nations, was a direct response to Iran's continued threats and attacks on international shipping lanes through one of the world's most critical waterways. But when push came to shove, France sided with America's enemies rather than standing up to Iranian aggression.
"China, Russia, and France just blocked the UN resolution to force Hormuz reopen," posted financial analyst @GarrettBullish on social media. "btw France was a surprise. maybe it's personal between Trump and Macron?"
That's a fair question, Patriots. Is Emmanuel Macron so bitter about President Trump's America First policies that he's willing to sabotage global security? Because that's exactly what this looks like.
Social media erupted with outrage over France's shocking decision. @Shawn_Farash captured the sentiment perfectly: "The Gulf States tried to advance a resolution in the UN Security Council allowing use of force to defend their ships in the Strait of Hormuz... Three countries blocked it. Russia, China... And FRANCE. You have got to be kidding me. What a disappointment Europe has been."
The Strait of Hormuz handles roughly 20% of global oil shipments, making it one of the world's most strategically important chokepoints. Iran has repeatedly threatened to close the strait and has attacked commercial vessels in the past. Yet when Gulf allies sought international backing to protect their ships, France chose to enable Iranian aggression.
This betrayal comes at a time when President Trump is working to rebuild American strength and restore respect for our nation on the world stage. Clearly, some of our supposed allies aren't ready for an America that puts its own interests first.
The question now is: How will the Trump administration respond to this French backstabbing? And more importantly, why are we continuing to treat countries as allies when they consistently work against American and allied interests?
