The walls are closing in on one of the most insufferable Trump critics in Congress, and the irony couldn't be more delicious.
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), the same man who spent years on cable news accusing President Trump of being a Russian asset without a shred of evidence, is now watching his political career implode as FBI Director Kash Patel prepares to release the long-buried Fang Fang spy files.
Patriots, you can't make this stuff up.
The Spy Who Loved Swalwell
For those who need a refresher, Fang Fang was identified by the FBI as a Chinese intelligence operative who reportedly cultivated a disturbingly close relationship with Swalwell — a sitting member of the House Intelligence Committee, of all places. The FBI warned Swalwell about her connections back in 2015, yet questions remain about just how deep this relationship went and what information may have been compromised.
Now, with Patel at the helm of the FBI and committed to exposing the rot within our intelligence agencies, those classified files are about to see the light of day. And Swalwell? He's doing what any cornered Democrat does — he's playing the victim.
Desperation on Full Display
In a move that would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic, Swalwell is now claiming that the Trump administration is somehow colluding with China to sabotage his California gubernatorial campaign. Let that sink in. The man credibly accused of having ties to a Chinese spy is accusing President Trump of working with Beijing.
The projection is absolutely staggering.
Meanwhile, the legacy media is doing everything it can to run cover for their favorite Russia hoaxer, but the dam is breaking. Americans are waking up to the stunning hypocrisy of a man who demanded endless investigations into fabricated Trump-Russia collusion while his own compromising foreign entanglements were swept under the rug by the weaponized FBI of the Biden years.
It Gets Worse
As if the Chinese spy connection wasn't damaging enough, reports have surfaced of a troubling pattern of behavior involving Swalwell and young female staffers and interns. Multiple women have allegedly come forward with accusations of inappropriate relationships, with some reportedly pressured into signing non-disclosure agreements.
This is the man who sat on the House Intelligence Committee with access to our nation's most sensitive secrets. This is the man who Democrats held up as a paragon of virtue during their witch hunts against President Trump. This is the man who wants to be California's next governor.
The American people deserve answers.
Accountability Is Coming
Under the Trump-Vance administration, the days of two-tiered justice are over. Director Patel has made it clear that transparency and accountability will be the new standard at the FBI — a welcome change from the corrupt Wray era that protected swamp creatures like Swalwell while persecuting everyday Americans.
The release of the Fang Fang files isn't just about one hypocritical congressman's downfall. It's about exposing how foreign adversaries have attempted to infiltrate the highest levels of our government — and how the Deep State covered it up to protect their political allies.
Swalwell spent years trying to destroy a duly elected president with lies. Now, the truth is coming for him.
The question every American should be asking: If the FBI knew about Swalwell's Chinese spy problem in 2015, why was he allowed to remain on the Intelligence Committee? Who else knew, and who buried it?
Stay tuned, folks. This scandal is just getting started.
