The Biden administration's reckless open border policies have come back to haunt America in the most dangerous way possible. Chinese illegal aliens Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng were arrested by the Department of Homeland Security after their children were allegedly involved in a bomb plot targeting a United States Air Force base.
According to the Department of Justice, the couple's son Alen Zheng attempted to damage government property with an explosive device, while his sister Ann Mary Zheng allegedly helped him cover his tracks. Both children are U.S. citizens, but their parents were denied asylum and have been residing illegally in the United States.
This is exactly what President Trump warned about during his first term and what his current administration is working to prevent through mass deportation efforts. How many more foreign nationals with questionable loyalties are walking freely among us, plotting against American military installations?
"Her brother ... had attempted to damage government property by fire or explosion," the DOJ alleges in court documents.
Social media users are expressing outrage over the incident. Twitter user @Styles_k noted the severity of such crimes, stating "It's good they were arrested, because in china it was a death sentence. Now they must face the full might of the law."
This explosive revelation underscores the critical importance of Secretary Kristi Noem's mission at DHS to secure our borders and remove those who have no right to be here. While Democrats spent years calling Trump's immigration policies "racist," incidents like this prove that proper vetting and enforcement aren't about race – they're about national security.
The fact that these Chinese nationals were able to remain in the country after being denied asylum demonstrates the complete failure of our immigration system under previous leadership. Thank God we now have an administration that takes these threats seriously.
How many more sleeper cells are operating on American soil while we debate the "humanity" of deportations? Our military bases shouldn't be testing grounds for foreign nationals' loyalty to America.
