FAKE NEWS ALERT: Liberals Attack Hegseth Over 'Good Friday Mass Ban' - Forget Basic Catholic Doctrine

The leftist media machine just embarrassed itself spectacularly with another fake news attack on the Trump administration - and this time they revealed their complete ignorance of basic Catholic doctrine while trying to manufacture outrage against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Liberal outlets have been working overtime to slam Hegseth for allegedly "barring Catholics from Good Friday religious services," painting him as some kind of religious bigot. The story spread like wildfire across social media, with anti-Trump activists jumping at yet another chance to attack the administration.

But here's the "tiny problem" that has these fake news peddlers looking like absolute fools: Catholics don't hold Mass on Good Friday.

As one sharp-eyed social media user pointed out on X: "Hard for Hegseth to discriminate against Catholics when Catholics don't have mass on Good Friday." That tweet perfectly captures the absurdity of this manufactured controversy.

"The line between courage and recklessness blurs at the edge of every headline. Today, we stand for truth, for accountability," posted @NahBabyNahNah, sharing the RedState article that exposed this media malpractice.

For those who actually know Catholic tradition - unlike the "journalists" pushing this fake story - Good Friday is a day of fasting and penance. The Catholic Church holds a special liturgy called the "Celebration of the Lord's Passion," but no Mass is celebrated. It's basic Catholic doctrine that any real reporter covering religious liberty should know.

This latest fake news fiasco perfectly illustrates how desperate the mainstream media has become to attack President Trump's team. They're so eager to manufacture scandals that they can't even be bothered to fact-check basic religious practices.

The story has been making rounds on social media, with patriots calling out the obvious media manipulation. @XtraDeadAgain shared the RedState exposé, helping spread the truth about this manufactured outrage.

Once again, we're seeing the same playbook: create a false narrative, let it spread through the echo chamber, then quietly move on when the facts emerge. But Americans are waking up to these tactics.

How many more times will the legacy media embarrass themselves with obviously fake stories before they learn that We the People see right through their propaganda?

Hegseth is solid and the left knows it. That's why they're scrambling to find anything to throw at him.

Wait, can someone explain why there's no Mass on Good Friday? I'm not Catholic but genuinely curious about this.

Finally someone with actual knowledge of Catholic doctrine calls out this nonsense! The media will literally attack anything without doing basic research.

Exactly! Anyone who's been to Mass knows there's no celebration on Good Friday. It's a day of mourning and reflection.

This is exactly why we can't trust mainstream media anymore. Zero fact-checking when it comes to attacking conservatives.

My parish has never had Mass on Good Friday in the 30+ years I've been attending. We have the Stations of the Cross and Passion service, but no Mass because Christ is in the tomb.

The fake news media strikes again! They'll twist anything to attack conservative nominees.

I've been Catholic my whole life and we NEVER have Mass on Good Friday. We have the Veneration of the Cross service instead. This is basic stuff that any reporter could have looked up in 30 seconds.

Thank you! The Liturgy of the Passion is completely different from Mass. Shows how little they understand our faith.
