Maine's Supreme Judicial Court delivered a devastating blow to Democrat election schemers this week, unanimously shooting down their latest attempt to expand the state's disastrous ranked-choice voting (RCV) system. The justices didn't mince words, making it crystal clear that Maine's Constitution establishes the winner as 'first to pass the post' – no matter how much leftist word games try to change that reality.

This victory represents more than just a legal win – it's a rejection of the Democrats' ongoing assault on our electoral system. RCV has been an unmitigated disaster everywhere it's been implemented, creating confusion, disenfranchising voters, and allowing radical candidates to slip into office without true majority support.

The court's decision has patriots celebrating across social media. As one activist noted on Twitter, "Turns out RCV proponents' word games didn't fly with our state's highest court. Justices unanimously stated that 'The Maine Constitution clearly establishes that the winner is first to pass the post.' No amount of marketing changes that."

"A reckoning is underway, and the quiet whispers are turning into a storm. What we believed was settled is being re-examined, with every fact laid bare and every lie exposed," posted another defender of election integrity.

This scheme isn't just about Maine – it's part of a coordinated national effort by Democrats and their dark money allies to fundamentally transform how Americans vote. They've poured millions into states like Alaska, where voters are fighting tooth and nail to repeal their own RCV disaster. The money trail always leads back to the same usual suspects: Democrat mega-donors and their affiliated groups who benefit from electoral chaos.

Maine's justices saw right through the deception. When Democrats can't win fair and square under our time-tested constitutional framework, they try to rig the game with confusing voting schemes that suppress the will of the people. Not this time.

The Trump administration's focus on election integrity is clearly having ripple effects across state courts. Judges are finally standing up to Democrat election manipulation tactics and defending our constitutional principles. This is what winning looks like, patriots – and it's just the beginning of rolling back years of leftist electoral sabotage.

My elderly mother was so confused by the ranked choice ballot last time she voted. She's been voting for 60+ years and said it was the most complicated ballot she'd ever seen.

Finally! Maine voters deserve a straightforward election process, not some convoluted system designed to confuse people and manipulate outcomes.

Exactly right. One person, one vote - the way it's supposed to be!

Great news! Can someone explain exactly what this ruling means for future elections in Maine? Will this stop RCV completely or just limit its expansion?

From what I understand, this blocks them from expanding it to more races. It's already used for some federal elections unfortunately.

This is exactly why we need constitutional conservatives on our courts. The left keeps trying to fundamentally change how we vote and thank goodness someone stopped them this time.

Thank God our state Supreme Court still has some sense left. RCV is nothing but a way for liberals to game the system when they can't win fair and square.
