New York City's socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani just dropped his administration's most radical plan yet – a citywide "racial equity" initiative that has conservatives and the Trump DOJ seeing red. The far-left Democrat unveiled what he's calling NYC's first comprehensive racial equity plan, but critics are calling it something else entirely: government-sanctioned racism.
The plan directs city agencies to address alleged racial disparities through a series of initiatives that sound suspiciously like the kind of woke DEI programming that President Trump has been systematically dismantling across federal agencies. But Mamdani apparently didn't get the memo that Americans decisively rejected this divisive ideology in November 2024.
Conservative voices on social media immediately called out the hypocrisy. "@NYCMayor implementing more racism to address 'racism'. Lmao," posted Twitter user @elaineldzin, perfectly capturing what many Americans are thinking about this backwards approach to equality.
"This is DEI & racial discrimination on steroids. My guess is that if you are white the 'Need Not Apply' sign will be on the door of every government job office," warned @pamjlofland on social media.
The National Pulse didn't mince words either, describing Mamdani as a "socialist mayor" pushing a "radical racial equity plan" that flies in the face of constitutional principles of equal treatment under the law.
But here's where it gets interesting, patriots. The Trump administration's Department of Justice – now led by Attorney General Pam Bondi – wasted no time launching a review of this questionable initiative. Unlike the Biden regime that encouraged this kind of divisive programming, the Trump DOJ is actually doing its job: protecting Americans from government discrimination.
This is exactly why we elected Donald Trump for a second term. While radical Democrats like Mamdani continue pushing their failed woke agenda, President Trump is busy dismantling the DEI industrial complex that has poisoned our institutions for far too long.
The question now is simple: Will New Yorkers finally wake up and reject the divisive politics that have turned their once-great city into a socialist experiment? Or will they continue enabling mayors who think the solution to alleged racism is... more racism?
