The horrific shooting at Old Dominion University has exposed a catastrophic failure of our immigration system that could have been prevented if common-sense denaturalization laws were already in place.

Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, a naturalized citizen from Sierra Leone, opened fire on innocent students while screaming 'Allahu Akhbar' before being heroically subdued by Army ROTC cadets. But here's the kicker - this terrorist sympathizer should have NEVER been in America to begin with.

Back in 2015, Jalloh traveled to Africa and made contact with ISIS operatives in Nigeria. He was caught red-handed providing material support to ISIS after communicating with what he thought was a fellow terrorist - who was actually an FBI informant. He was convicted and sentenced to 11 years in federal prison.

So why was this ISIS supporter still walking American streets instead of being shipped back to Sierra Leone?

🚨 BREAKING: The FBI says Old Dominion University shooter Mohamed Jalloh screamed 'ALLAHU AKHBAR' when opening fire on students today. Jalloh was subdued by HEROIC Army ROTC cadets. Yet ANOTHER 'naturalized citizen' who NEVER SHOULD'VE BEEN HERE ESPECIALLY after supporting ISIS

Social media users are rightfully outraged, and this case perfectly illustrates why President Trump's denaturalization agenda is so critical for American safety.

Trump Administration Must Act NOW

Under the Trump-Vance administration's America First policies, cases like Jalloh's should be fast-tracked for denaturalization and immediate deportation. When someone commits acts of terrorism or supports terrorist organizations, their citizenship should be REVOKED - period.

The fact that this ISIS sympathizer was allowed to remain in America after his conviction is a testament to the failed policies of previous administrations. How many more American students need to be put in danger because we refuse to deport convicted terrorists?

Patriots, this is exactly why we voted for Trump's tough immigration stance. Every day we delay implementing robust denaturalization procedures is another day dangerous foreign nationals can harm innocent Americans.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Every single person who had the authority to deport this terrorist and didn't should be held accountable.

This is exactly why we need to fix our broken immigration system! How many more innocent students have to suffer because we refuse to enforce our own laws?

Absolutely right. The blood is on the hands of every politician who has blocked deportation efforts.

As an educator, this terrifies me. We're supposed to provide a safe learning environment but how can we when the system fails us like this? My heart goes out to those students and their families.

Can someone explain to me how our deportation system actually works? What specific legal loopholes allowed this person to stay after conviction?

Usually it's appeals processes and sanctuary policies that tie up deportations for years. The system is designed to delay, not enforce.

I served this country for 20 years and it breaks my heart to see us fail to protect our children from known threats. When someone with ISIS sympathies gets convicted, they should be on the next plane out!
