Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed launched a disgusting verbal assault on President Donald Trump during a campaign event at Michigan State University Tuesday, calling the Commander-in-Chief Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's "dumba**" over America's Iran policy.
The progressive Democrat's unhinged rant represents everything wrong with today's radical left – attacking our President while he works to protect American interests and stand with our strongest Middle Eastern ally, Israel.
"Why are we there? There is one country that benefits. One," El-Sayed told his supporters, pushing the tired anti-Israel talking points that have infected the Democratic Party.
This is the same dangerous rhetoric we've heard from the Squad and other America-Last Democrats who would rather appease Iran's terrorist regime than support our longtime democratic ally. El-Sayed's comments reveal the anti-Semitic undercurrent running through progressive politics today.
Michigan Voters Deserve Better
While President Trump works to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and sponsoring terrorism across the region, radical Democrats like El-Sayed attack him for standing strong. This is exactly the kind of weak, anti-American foreign policy that got us into messes overseas in the first place.
The fact that El-Sayed feels comfortable publicly insulting the President with profanity shows how emboldened the far-left has become. These are the same people who lectured us about "civility" and "norms" during Trump's first term.
Michigan families are dealing with real problems – inflation, crime, and illegal immigration. Instead of offering solutions, El-Sayed is focused on parroting progressive talking points that could have come straight from Tehran's propaganda machine.
Patriots across Michigan need to remember this moment when they head to the polls. Do they want a Senator who stands with America and our allies, or someone who thinks it's appropriate to call our President crude names while defending Iran's interests?
The choice couldn't be clearer. Michigan deserves leaders who put America First, not anti-Israel radicals who attack our President for keeping us safe.
