A Wisconsin Republican is taking action to stop asylum fraudsters from gaming America's immigration system after the arrest of Iranian dictator Qasem Soleimani's niece exposed the massive loopholes being exploited by foreign nationals.
Rep. Tom Tiffany introduced the SAFER Act following news that Soleimani's niece was busted in Los Angeles over allegedly fraudulent asylum claims. The legislation would strip asylum protection from anyone caught vacationing in the very countries they claimed to have "fled" from in fear.
"It's common sense - if you're supposedly fleeing persecution and fearing for your life, you don't book a vacation back to that same country," a source familiar with the legislation told reporters. "This bill closes a glaring loophole that fraudsters have been exploiting for years."
America's Asylum System Under Siege
The timing couldn't be better. With President Trump's mass deportation operation in full swing, lawmakers are finally addressing the systematic abuse of America's asylum process that exploded under the Biden regime. For too long, bad actors have treated U.S. asylum protections like a free pass to game the system.
Think about it, Patriots - what legitimate asylum seeker returns to vacation in the country they supposedly fled? It's a slap in the face to real refugees and to every American taxpayer footing the bill for these fraudulent claims.
"We're done being played for suckers by people who abuse our generosity while laughing at our laws," one Congressional aide said.
The SAFER Act represents exactly the kind of common-sense immigration reform that Trump supporters have been demanding. No more sob stories. No more catch and release. Just accountability for those who think they can manipulate America's compassionate immigration policies.
As Trump's deportation machine ramps up nationwide, this legislation sends a clear message: the days of asylum fraud are numbered. Will other Republicans have the backbone to support Tiffany's bill, or will they cave to inevitable Democrat hysteria about "targeting vulnerable populations"?
