Iran's Islamic Republic is already showing its true colors just 24 hours into the so-called ceasefire, as not a single oil tanker was permitted to traverse the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz despite Tehran's public claims of reopening the waterway.

While Iran made a big show of "opening" the strait that controls roughly 20% of global oil traffic, the reality on the ground tells a very different story. Only four bulk carriers - not the crucial oil and gas tankers that keep the world's economy running - were allowed passage through the narrow chokepoint.

This is classic Iranian deception, folks. The mullahs in Tehran want the world to think they're playing nice while they continue to strangle global energy supplies and hold the international community hostage.

Trump's Strong Hand Needed More Than Ever

President Trump's America First energy policies have made the United States less dependent on Middle Eastern oil than ever before, but our allies and the global economy still rely heavily on these shipping lanes. Iran knows this, which is exactly why they're playing these dangerous games.

The Strait of Hormuz isn't just any waterway - it's the world's most important oil transit chokepoint. When Iran decides to flex its muscles here, it sends shockwaves through energy markets and hurts working families at the gas pump.

"Iran's actions speak louder than their words. While they claim to support peace, they're still using energy as a weapon against the free world."

This situation perfectly illustrates why President Trump's "drill, baby, drill" agenda and his commitment to American energy dominance are so crucial. When rogue regimes like Iran try to manipulate global energy supplies, America needs to be in a position of strength, not weakness.

The question now is whether this ceasefire is genuine or just another Iranian stalling tactic. Based on day one's evidence, Patriots should remain highly skeptical of any promises coming out of Tehran.

Iran has NEVER been trustworthy when it comes to ceasefires or international agreements. They're playing the same old games while choking off global oil supplies.

Exactly right Mike. I've been in the energy sector for 20 years and Iran pulls this stunt every time they want leverage in negotiations.

So much for their 'peaceful intentions' - actions speak louder than words!

How is this not considered an act of war against international commerce? The Strait of Hormuz is a vital shipping lane that affects the entire global economy.

I served in the Persian Gulf back in '88 during the Tanker War. Iran was attacking civilian ships then too, and they haven't changed one bit. Why does anyone still believe anything they say?

Thank you for your service! You're absolutely right - leopards don't change their spots.
