SHOCKING: Iowa Democrat Pastor Says 9/11 Taught Her About 'Anti-Muslim Bigotry' Instead of Islamic Terror

A Democrat pastor running for Congress in Iowa has revealed the twisted way liberals view Islamic terrorism – and it's exactly what you'd expect from today's radical left.

Sarah Trone Garriott, a Lutheran minister seeking a congressional seat, wrote that the September 11 attacks – which killed nearly 3,000 innocent Americans – taught her about "anti-Muslim bigotry" rather than the dangers of radical Islamic terrorism.

Let that sink in, Patriots. While normal Americans learned that we face real threats from Islamic extremists who want to destroy our way of life, this Democrat pastor was more worried about hurt feelings than murdered Americans.

Defending Muslim Prayers in State Senate

Garriott's shocking comments came in an opinion piece defending her 2021 decision to read a Muslim prayer in the Iowa Senate. When faced with criticism for this inappropriate action, instead of listening to her constituents, she doubled down with victim politics.

"The September 11 attacks made me more aware of anti-Muslim bigotry and the harm it caused," Garriott wrote, completely missing the point that 9/11 was an act of war against America by Islamic terrorists.

This is the same backwards thinking that gave us eight years of Barack Obama apologizing for America around the world. While President Trump correctly identifies radical Islamic terrorism as a threat, Democrats like Garriott are more concerned with political correctness than protecting Americans.

What This Means for Iowa

Garriott's mindset represents everything wrong with the modern Democrat Party. Instead of standing up for American values and Christian traditions, she's pushing Islamic prayers in government buildings while lecturing us about "bigotry."

Iowa voters deserve better than a pastor who thinks 9/11 was a lesson in tolerance rather than a wake-up call about Islamic extremism. This is why President Trump's America First agenda resonates with real Americans who understand that our safety comes first.

The question Iowa patriots need to ask: Do you want a representative who remembers 9/11 as a lesson in political correctness, or someone who will actually defend American lives and values?

My son served three tours in Afghanistan fighting the same ideology that brought down those towers. This pastor's comments are a slap in the face to every service member who sacrificed to keep America safe.

This pastor needs to read the Bible instead of woke talking points.

The mental gymnastics required to reach this conclusion are truly Olympic-level. How do you witness an act of Islamic terrorism and conclude the real problem is people being suspicious of Islamic terrorism?

How does someone become so disconnected from reality? 3,000 innocent Americans died and her takeaway is about bigotry against the ideology that motivated the attacks?

I'm genuinely curious - what theological justification does she have for this position? How does this align with Christian teachings about good and evil?

There isn't one. This is secular progressivism masquerading as Christianity.

This is exactly what's wrong with our country today. We've completely lost sight of who the real victims were on 9/11 and who the actual perpetrators were.

Couldn't agree more. My brother was in Tower 2 that day and this kind of twisted thinking is an insult to his memory.

Absolutely unbelievable!

As an Iowa resident, I'm embarrassed this woman represents our state. We remember 9/11 properly here - honoring the victims and first responders, not making excuses for terrorists.
