The hypocrisy is absolutely staggering, Patriots. After four years of the most vicious, unhinged attacks on President Trump—including two bogus impeachments, endless investigations, and daily character assassinations—now we're supposed to show "respect" to Joe Biden?
A PJ Media columnist recently penned a piece titled "And Now for Something Completely Different: Can We Please Show Some Respect to Joe Biden?" arguing that Americans should respect the office of the presidency regardless of who holds it. The author claims to have "connections" with Biden and preaches about "loyalty" to the office.
Where was this noble sentiment when the mainstream media, Hollywood elites, and Democrat politicians spent every waking moment trying to destroy Trump? Where was the call for "respect" when they compared our duly elected president to Hitler, called him a Russian agent, and fabricated hoaxes to undermine his presidency?
"I've always held the opinion, as an American, that even if you don't like or agree with the president of the United States, you respect the office," the columnist writes.
Really? Because the left showed ZERO respect for Trump from day one. They called his presidency illegitimate, staged a phony "resistance," and even had Madonna fantasizing about blowing up the White House. Hollywood actors regularly called for violence against Trump, and the media treated him like a criminal for four straight years.
Now that Trump is back in the White House—rightfully reclaiming his position after the American people decisively rejected the Biden regime—suddenly we need lectures about presidential respect?
The Rules Only Apply to Conservatives
This is classic liberal playbook, folks. When their guy is in power, we must show reverence and respect. When our guy wins, anything goes—lies, harassment, investigation after investigation, and outright hatred.
President Trump has shown remarkable grace in victory, focusing on his America First agenda rather than seeking revenge against those who tried to destroy him. Maybe it's time for these fair-weather respect preachers to look in the mirror and ask themselves where they were when Trump needed defending.
The American people see right through this selective outrage. We remember who stood with our movement and who didn't.
