Senate Republicans are done playing games with Democrats who would rather shut down the government than secure America's borders. GOP leadership announced they're meeting with President Trump this week to craft a reconciliation bill that will fully fund ICE and Customs and Border Protection without a single Democrat vote.

The move comes after radical Democrats made it crystal clear they'd rather see the government grind to a halt than give President Trump the resources he needs to remove criminal illegal aliens from American communities. While families across the country demand action on the border crisis, Democrats are playing political theater with our national security.

"We're not going to let the Democrats hold border security hostage anymore," a senior GOP aide told reporters. "If they want to obstruct President Trump's deportation operations, we'll go around them completely."

The reconciliation process allows Republicans to bypass the Senate's 60-vote threshold and pass immigration funding with their simple majority – exactly what Trump needs to deliver on his mass deportation promise.

This is what real leadership looks like, Patriots. Instead of cowering to Democrat demands or accepting watered-down compromise bills, Republicans are finally using every tool at their disposal to advance the America First agenda that voters demanded in November.

Democrats Choose Illegals Over Americans

What's truly disgusting is watching Democrats fight harder for illegal aliens than they ever did for struggling American families. They'll move heaven and earth to protect criminals who shouldn't even be in this country, but when it comes to securing the border and protecting American workers? Suddenly they're nowhere to be found.

President Trump ran on the largest deportation operation in American history, and the American people gave him a mandate to deliver. Every Democrat standing in the way is standing against the will of the voters and the safety of our communities.

The question now isn't whether Republicans can fund Trump's deportation machine – it's how quickly they can get it done. With reconciliation on the table, Democrats just lost their last leverage to obstruct the America First agenda.

About time we stopped letting the minority party dictate our border policy!

As someone living 20 miles from the border, I can tell you ICE needs every dollar they can get. The situation down here is out of control and getting worse every month.

Stay safe down there. These agents are doing impossible work with their hands tied behind their backs.

Good strategy but will they actually follow through? I've seen too many GOP promises that end up as empty threats when push comes to shove.

Finally! Someone in the GOP is willing to take a stand. The Democrats have been obstructing border security for years while our communities suffer.

Exactly right. My county sheriff tells me they're overwhelmed with the spillover effects from the border crisis.
