A 32-year-old Butler, Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty in federal court to threatening to kill President Donald Trump and other federal officials, the Justice Department announced Monday.
Shawn Monper entered his guilty plea before U.S. District Judge W. Scott Hardy on two counts of threatening to assault and kill the President, along with other U.S. officials and federal immigration agents.
The irony here is chilling, Patriots. Butler, Pennsylvania – the very same town where President Trump survived a horrific assassination attempt during a campaign rally in July 2024 – is now home to yet another deranged individual making violent threats against our Commander-in-Chief.
This case highlights the ongoing security threats facing President Trump, who has faced more assassination attempts and violent rhetoric than perhaps any president in modern history. While the Deep State and mainstream media spent years calling Trump a "threat to democracy," it's actually the radical left and unhinged individuals like Monper who pose the real danger to our democratic institutions.
Pattern of Left-Wing Violence
Monper's threats weren't limited to President Trump – he also targeted federal immigration agents, the very heroes working to secure our border and implement Trump's America First immigration agenda. This shows the broader pattern of leftist violence directed at anyone trying to enforce our nation's laws.
"The threats made by this individual represent a clear and present danger not just to our President, but to the rule of law itself,"
The Justice Department's swift action in this case demonstrates that the Trump Administration is taking these threats seriously, unlike the previous regime that often turned a blind eye to violence against conservatives.
With Trump's mass deportation efforts ramping up and his America First agenda in full swing, we can expect more unhinged leftists to lash out. The question is: when will Democrat leaders finally condemn this pattern of violence instead of continuing to stoke hatred against our President?
