The radical leftists on ABC's "The View" are at it again, this time with co-host Sunny Hostin making absolutely mind-boggling claims about child care costs that reveal just how disconnected these elites are from everyday American families.
During a recent segment attacking conservative activist Isabel Brown's pro-family message at CPAC, Hostin launched into a deranged rant claiming it's "reckless" to encourage Americans to have children in today's economy. But it was her wildly inflated cost estimate that sent BlazeTV host Pat Gray over the edge.
"I think it's just really reckless to be suggesting that people should have children when you now know in this country there's this affordability crisis," Hostin smugly declared, before apparently claiming that child care costs a staggering $400,000 per year.
Pat Gray wasn't having any of this elitist nonsense. The conservative host absolutely demolished Hostin's out-of-touch perspective, pointing out how these wealthy media personalities live in such a bubble that they have zero understanding of what real families actually spend on child care.
Elite Bubble Mentality Exposed
This is exactly the kind of tone-deaf garbage we've come to expect from "The View" - a show that consistently attacks traditional American values while the hosts flaunt their privileged lifestyles. While working families across America are celebrating President Trump's pro-family policies and economic recovery, these Manhattan elites are literally telling people not to have children.
The timing couldn't be more revealing. Just as the Trump-Vance administration is implementing policies to help American families thrive and grow, the left-wing media machine goes into overdrive attacking conservatives who dare to promote family values and encourage Americans to build the futures they want.
"This is what happens when wealthy coastal elites try to lecture real Americans about family planning while living in their ivory towers," one social media user perfectly summarized.
Patriots, this is why we can never trust the mainstream media to represent our values or understand our struggles. While Sunny Hostin probably spends more on her morning latte than many families spend on a week of groceries, she has the audacity to tell hardworking Americans that having children is "reckless."
How long will everyday Americans tolerate this kind of condescending lecture from people who clearly have no idea how the real world works?
