The sheer arrogance is breathtaking. Former Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland appeared on MSNBC Wednesday night to condescendingly declare that Canada is "rooting for America to get its act together" - apparently oblivious to the fact that America already HAS gotten its act together by electing Donald Trump.
Speaking on the far-left network's "All In," Freeland delivered her patronizing assessment of our nation while completely ignoring the reality that President Trump has spent the past three weeks systematically dismantling the disasters left behind by the Biden regime and restoring American strength.
"We're rooting for America to get its act together," Freeland smugly told MSNBC's audience, as if Americans should care what failed Canadian politicians think about our recovery.
This is rich coming from a politician whose own government collapsed in spectacular fashion, with Justin Trudeau announcing his resignation just weeks ago amid plummeting approval ratings and economic chaos. Canada's leadership has been an international embarrassment - from Trudeau's blackface scandals to their authoritarian COVID lockdowns to freezing the bank accounts of Freedom Convoy protesters.
Meanwhile, Trump is delivering REAL results
While Freeland lectures America from her ivory tower, President Trump has already begun the largest deportation operation in American history, secured our border, and started dismantling the deep state bureaucracy that held our nation back. His administration is bringing manufacturing back to America, making energy abundant again, and restoring respect for our flag worldwide.
Patriots should remember this moment - foreign elites think they can still talk down to America like we're the same weak nation we were under Biden's disastrous tenure. They're in for a rude awakening.
Perhaps instead of worrying about America "getting our act together," Freeland should focus on helping Canada find new leadership that won't embarrass them on the world stage. We've got our house in order - do they?
