Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is back to her old tricks, leading a coalition of 23 House Democrats in demanding President Trump restore Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Yemen before it expires on May 4th. Because apparently, the American people's overwhelming vote for border security and controlled immigration means nothing to these radical leftists.

The Michigan congresswoman, who has made a career out of attacking American interests while coddling foreign nationals, sent a letter to the Trump administration essentially demanding they ignore their own America First agenda. This is the same Rashida Tlaib who has repeatedly attacked Israel, promoted anti-American sentiment, and now wants to keep our borders wide open for anyone claiming to flee Yemen.

Here's what Patriots need to understand: TPS was supposed to be TEMPORARY protection during crisis situations. But Democrats have weaponized this program into permanent backdoor amnesty, allowing hundreds of thousands to remain in America indefinitely while actual American citizens struggle with housing costs, job competition, and overwhelmed public services.

Trump's Clear Mandate Being Ignored

The audacity is breathtaking. President Trump just won a decisive victory on a platform of mass deportations, border security, and ending the endless flow of illegal immigration that destroyed communities under the Biden regime. Yet here's Tlaib, acting like she's running immigration policy from her congressional office.

Yemen TPS has been extended multiple times, turning what should have been temporary humanitarian relief into permanent settlement. Meanwhile, how many homeless American veterans are sleeping on our streets? How many American families are struggling to afford rent because housing demand has skyrocketed?

The Trump administration has been crystal clear: America First means Americans come first. Our immigration system should serve American workers and American communities, not provide endless welfare benefits to foreign nationals who Democrats see as future voters.

Will Trump hold the line against this Squad-led pressure campaign, or will the deep state bureaucrats find ways to undermine his immigration agenda? Patriots are watching closely, and we expect our President to keep his promises to secure our borders and put America First.

I feel for the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, but shouldn't we prioritize Americans first? We have veterans and homeless people who need help too.

Tlaib's priorities are backwards as usual.

My cousin works for CBP and they're already overwhelmed. We need to fix our current system before adding more pressure.

Thank your cousin for their service. These politicians have no idea what our border agents face daily.

Why is it always 'open borders for everyone' with these progressives? What about proper vetting and legal immigration processes?

Here we go again with the Squad pushing their radical agenda! Trump needs to stand firm on border security.

Absolutely right. We can't let emotion override common sense immigration policy.

Every country has the right to control its borders. That's not controversial, it's basic sovereignty!

Exactly. Immigration should be merit-based and controlled, not chaotic.

Does anyone know what specific policies she's actually demanding? The article mentions open borders but I'd like to see the details.
