President Donald Trump brought his winning economic message straight to the heart of Las Vegas on Thursday, sitting down with everyday Nevada workers — bartenders, cops, barbers, and culinary staff — to remind them exactly who's fighting for their paychecks and who tried to rob them blind.
The roundtable, featuring Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and a diverse group of working-class Nevadans, showcased the stark contrast between Trump's America First agenda and the Democrats' tax-and-spend nightmare that voters rejected in 2024.
"We Can Never Forget"
Trump didn't mince words when it came to Democrat betrayal of American workers.
"We can never forget" that Democrats voted for tax increases, the President declared, driving home a message that should haunt every radical leftist heading into the 2026 midterms. "They voted for the largest tax hike in history."
Let that sink in, Patriots. While President Trump has been delivering tax relief that's benefited more than half of all Americans — "more than 50% have taken advantage of the things that we put into the bill," he noted — Democrats were scheming to pick your pockets.
Iran "Diversion" Can't Stop the Trump Train
Even with international challenges demanding attention, Trump made clear that nothing derails his economic mission for the American people.
"Despite our little diversion to the little country of Iran... the job we've done has been amazing," Trump said, demonstrating the kind of confident leadership that was sorely absent during the disastrous Biden years when gas prices skyrocketed and inflation crushed working families.
And speaking of fuel prices — Trump dropped a tantalizing hint that has energy markets buzzing.
"Let's see what happens over the next two weeks or so," the President said with characteristic confidence. "I think you will be very impressed."
Real Americans, Real Stories
Unlike the staged photo-ops of past administrations, this roundtable featured actual working Nevadans feeling the benefits of Trump's policies: Fidel Hernandez, who owns Faded Times Barbershop; Holly Land, a waitress and Culinary Board member; Cruz Littlefield, a patrol officer protecting Las Vegas streets; and Darrell Foss, an oyster bar cook at Sunset Station.
These aren't coastal elites or Washington lobbyists. These are the backbone of America — and they know exactly which party has their back.
The Midterm Message
Trump's closing was crystal clear: vote Republican in the midterms if you want to keep winning.
With Nevada's Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony and other state leaders at the table, the message couldn't be more urgent. The radical Left is desperate to regain power and reverse every gain working Americans have made under this administration.
The question for Nevada voters — and Americans everywhere — is simple: Do you want to keep more of your hard-earned money, or hand it over to the same Democrats who pushed the largest tax hike in American history?
The answer should be obvious.
