President Donald Trump didn't mince words during his flight to Las Vegas Monday, unleashing a blistering attack on former congressional candidate Joe Kent and Fox News liberal pundit Jessica Tarlov on Truth Social.
In a series of posts that had social media buzzing, Trump called out Kent for remarrying "too fast" after his wife's death and slammed Tarlov as one of the "least attractive" personalities on television. The 47th President clearly had some time to kill at 30,000 feet – and he used every minute of it.
Trump's criticism of Joe Kent, the former Army Special Forces officer who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in Washington state, centered on what the President saw as inappropriate timing in Kent's personal life. Kent, whose first wife was killed in a 2019 ISIS attack in Syria, has since remarried – apparently too quickly for Trump's liking.
"Joe Kent remarried way too fast after his wife died. Not a good look. Loser candidate too," Trump posted to Truth Social.
But Trump wasn't done there. He then turned his fire on Jessica Tarlov, the liberal Fox News contributor who regularly appears on shows like "The Five" to provide the token left-wing perspective that drives conservative viewers up the wall.
According to sources familiar with the posts, Trump called Tarlov one of the "least attractive" people on television and questioned why Fox News continues to give her airtime. It's a sentiment many America First patriots have expressed privately – finally, someone said it publicly.
This latest Truth Social storm shows Trump isn't afraid to speak his mind about anyone, even fellow Republicans who disappoint him. Kent, despite his military service, failed to win his congressional race and apparently rubbed Trump the wrong way with his personal choices.
As for Tarlov, she's long been a thorn in the side of conservative viewers who tune into Fox expecting actual conservative commentary, not rehashed Democrat talking points with a smile.
The question remains: will Fox News finally listen to their audience and dump the dead weight? Don't hold your breath, Patriots.
