Another anti-American radical has gotten the message loud and clear: the Trump administration means business when it comes to enforcing our immigration laws and protecting our allies like Israel.

Rumeysa Ozturk, a Turkish graduate student at the elite Tufts University who co-authored a disgusting anti-Israel op-ed, has packed her bags and self-deported to Istanbul after her legal battle with the Department of Homeland Security went nowhere fast, according to sources familiar with the situation.

While an immigration judge had initially terminated Ozturk's deportation case, the writing was clearly on the wall under Trump's America First immigration enforcement. Rather than continue fighting a losing battle against an administration that actually enforces the law, Ozturk chose to leave on her own terms.

Elite Universities: Breeding Grounds for Anti-American Sentiment

This case perfectly illustrates the toxic anti-American and anti-Israel sentiment that festers at our supposedly prestigious universities. Here we have a foreign national on a student visa using her privileged position at Tufts to spread propaganda against one of America's strongest allies in the Middle East.

Under the previous administration, radicals like Ozturk felt emboldened to spew their hatred while enjoying the benefits of studying in the greatest country on earth. Those days are over, Patriots.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has made it crystal clear that the Trump administration will not tolerate foreign nationals who abuse their visa privileges to undermine American interests and attack our allies. The message is getting through, and America-haters are choosing to leave rather than face the consequences of their actions.

This self-deportation sends a powerful signal to other radical foreign students who think they can come to America, enjoy our freedoms and opportunities, then bite the hand that feeds them. Trump's DHS isn't playing games, and the results speak for themselves.

How many more anti-American radicals will choose to leave rather than face Trump's restored immigration enforcement? The answer should be: all of them.

My son died fighting terrorism overseas and then we let people like this into our universities to spread the same hatred. Thank God Trump is finally taking action to protect our homeland.

Finally! It's about time we started enforcing consequences for people who come here on student visas just to spread anti-American hatred. Our tax dollars shouldn't be funding people who hate us.

Exactly right. I served 20 years to protect this country and it's infuriating to see people abuse our generosity.

Good riddance, but I'm curious about the specific legal grounds DHS used here. Was this related to visa violations or something else? Would love to see more details on the enforcement mechanism.

As someone who works in academia, I can tell you this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many foreign graduate students who come here with anti-Israel and anti-Western agendas. We need stricter vetting processes for student visas.
