Democratic socialists face embarrassment after the co-chair of their party delivered a babbling and vague explanation of a key policy position when asked during a recent media appearance. Appearing on 'The New Yorker Radio Hour,' Megan Romer struggled to articulate what it means to tax 'the hell' out of millionaires, leaving listeners scratching their heads.

Host David Remnick prompted Romer to shed light on this cornerstone of socialist policy. Her response was a convoluted mess: 'So again, it's democracy, right? And we have to look at what we need to spend and what we need. We don't want to depend on the existence of millionaires, because that means people...'

This inept showing didn't go unnoticed. Social media erupted with criticism and disbelief.

Yoseph Haddad tweeted, 'Turn your attention to this dangerous trend within the Democratic Party in the US. Megan Romer, co-chair of the DSA, an ultra-‘progressive’ political organization that’s gaining momentum within the Democratic Party, was interviewed by The New Yorker.'

But the fiasco didn't stop at incoherent tax policy. Dredging deeper into controversy, Romer went on to make the chilling assertion that the October 7th terrorist attacks on Israel were 'largely inevitable' and brazenly admitted she 'probably would have' attended a pro-Hamas rally just one day after the massacre. Even the left-leaning MSNBC couldn’t stomach this one.

Twitter user t_independ77052 noted, 'Joe Scarborough looks visibly sickened as he hears DSA co-chair Megan Romer say October 7th was "largely inevitable" and admit she "probably would have" attended a pro-Hamas rally the day after the massacre.'

Romer's reckless words seem to confirm what many Americans have suspected all along—that the socialists at the helm of the Democratic Party are not only out of touch with reality but potentially dangerous in their naivety and rhetoric.

This debacle shines a light on a troubling trend within the Democratic Party, as ultra-progressive voices gain sway. Patriots, are we really going to let such extreme and dangerous ideologies dictate our national dialogue? It's high time we reflect on who holds the reins of power and ensure they truly represent American values.

Can anyone provide examples of where Democratic Socialism has actually succeeded without collapsing an economy?

I don't think you'll find any. Once you start digging into the facts, they become pretty hard to find.

Can someone explain how Democratic Socialism is any different from regular socialism? It all sounds like a big government overreach to me.

It's scary to see how many people are buying into this ideology without understanding its consequences. A little research can go a long way in seeing where these policies have failed around the world.

Finally, someone is calling them out! This has been a long time coming and it's refreshing to see it.

I remember back in college when a lot of my friends were drawn to socialist ideas because they sounded fair. Once we hit the real world, most of us realized those concepts crumble when faced with reality.

Isn't it amazing how life experience can change perspectives?

This interview is a perfect example of why Democratic Socialism doesn't work in reality. When pressed, they can't offer practical solutions, just utopian ideals.
