President Trump has taken a strong stance against the twice-yearly clock changes due to daylight saving time, highlighting its disruptive effects on society. "We want to get away from this ridiculous way and custom of every twice a year turning your clocks back, turning your clocks forward," he stated, pointing out how it "discombobulates everybody." Trump emphasized that shifting the clocks is "ridiculous," noting its complications ranging from social disruptions to even its correlation with crime rates.

A Call for Senate Action

Trump underscored the public's overwhelming desire to abandon the clock-changing tradition. "If you look at the public, they agree. That's a 100 percent issue. 65 percent," he declared. He pointed out that the House of Representatives has already taken action, with "more than 80 percent" voting for the change, but lamented that it is stalled in the Senate, attributing the delay to Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

"Tom Cotton is holding it," President Trump stated, expressing frustration that such a popular issue remains unresolved." Praising Mike Johnson's efforts in the House, Trump called for further action in the Senate.

Decisive Stance on Iran

In parallel, President Trump also addressed the situation with Iran, indicating a firm position. "We have a decision that I'll make about Iran. Iran's been decimated," he remarked. Portraying Iran's state as severely weakened, he suggested the resolution could follow "the easy way or the hard way." Trump's remarks reflect a no-nonsense approach toward the Iranian issue, indicating that a decision from his administration is imminent.

The President's comments underscore his decisive leadership style, both domestically with clock change policies and internationally with Iran. His appeal for Senate action on popular policies reflects a commitment to public sentiment, while his comments on Iran hint at potential diplomatic or strategic initiatives on the horizon.
