The Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) released a report Friday evaluating President Trump's impact on the manufacturing sector during his second term, finding that the industry is experiencing robust growth driven by the administration's pro-growth policies.

The report, titled "The State of American Manufacturing," states that manufacturing jobs are reshoring to America after the Biden Administration "shipped over 200,000 American jobs overseas in its last two years." It also highlights that factory construction is soaring as President Trump's tariff policies incentivized companies to make their products in the USA.

According to the CEA, Made-in-America manufacturing positions the United States at the forefront of critical industries for national security, including aerospace, aircraft equipment, natural gas and petroleum production, and metals.

A New Renaissance in American Steel

The analysis points to a new renaissance in American steel production, reinforcing domestic industrial capacity. It also notes that the United States is now the world's largest energy exporter and continues to strengthen its leadership across the energy sector.

The CEA writes that the manufacturing resurgence "reinforces America's dominance as a global leader" and has positive impacts on the labor sector, with more American jobs, increased wages, and company expansions that stimulate Main Street local economies and communities nationwide.

"The CEA analysis outlines how the United States is pioneering the technology frontier, reshoring production, and President Trump's pro-growth, pro-investment approach is contributing to a new American Golden Age," the report concludes.
