The announcement was made in a post from the official @WhiteHouse account, which encouraged the public to tune in.
"TOMORROW, October 13th at 9:30 AM EST, Press Secretary @KatieZacharia will hold her first White House press briefing," the post read. "Don't miss it!"
First Appearance at the Podium
The briefing marks Zacharia's debut at the White House press podium in her role as Press Secretary. It will be her first time fielding questions from the White House press corps in that capacity.
The White House did not release any additional information about what topics the Press Secretary plans to address during the briefing.
