President Trump's rapid response team is calling out Newsweek for publishing an article that frames a "socialist revolution" as a fun quiz, while the White House warns the ideology the left is selling has produced death on an incomprehensible scale.

"This sick gutter trash is actually on @Newsweek's website," the Trump rapid response account posted. "A 'socialist revolution' isn't a fun quiz. It's engineered starvation, labor camps, and death — misery on a scale we cannot even begin to fathom."

White House: 'It's Not a Socialist Revolution. It's Misery, Starvation, and Death.'

The White House followed with a formal statement condemning the media's treatment of socialism as a harmless curiosity. "There's nothing lighthearted about the reality that campaign is trying to hide," the White House wrote. "Socialist and communist regimes have killed some 100 million people through engineered famines, mass executions, and slave labor camps."

That same ideology, the White House says, is now being pushed by the "Democrat Socialists of America and the Radical Left that dominates the Democrat Party." Their agenda — including Medicare for All, open borders, mass amnesty, abolishing police and prisons, and the Green New Deal — comes with a staggering price tag.

$49 Trillion Price Tag, $400,000 per Household

A new report from the Council of Economic Advisers puts the ten-year cost of the socialist agenda at $49 trillion, or as much as $400,000 per American household. That would be financed by massive tax hikes that slash wages by nearly 30%, shrink economic output, and drive inflation sky-high.

"Mortgage rates would soar past 12%, millions of jobs would vanish, and productivity would collapse as empty shelves, rationed care, and the slow grind of state control replace the abundance of American exceptionalism," the White House stated.

Trump: 'America Will Never Be a Socialist Country'

President Trump addressed the threat directly in a video posted by the White House. "America will never be a socialist country, and I was right," Trump said. "What I didn't say is what they're trying to do, they want to skip socialism, they want to go right down to the bottom of the barrel, that's communism, they want it to be a communist country, we're not letting them have it as a communist country, not even for a minute."

Trump vowed to defeat the ideology once and for all. "Together we will defeat communism, socialism and Marxism and America once and for all, it's defeated, it's going to go down," he said. "But sometimes it takes a lot of people with it, it takes too long, you've got to nip it in the bud."

The president also called out Democrat lawmakers for opposing his agenda. "The Democrat communists in Congress claim to stand for working people, but every single one voted against our tax cuts," Trump said. "They voted against securing the border, they wanted open borders... they want to raise your taxes to levels that you've never had to pay before."

The White House concluded with a stark warning: "Socialism is a sick, perverse system that produces misery and death on an incomprehensible scale. Democrats are deliberately attempting to hasten the destruction of American prosperity, security, and freedom — and if given the chance, they'll gleefully turn America into a third-world country."
