Vice President Vance is calling on all public officeholders to root out fraud at every level of government, according to a statement released by the White House.
The call applies to members of Congress, local officials, and statewide officials. The vice president wants them to "seek out, prosecute, eliminate, fraud at every level," the White House said.
Trust in taxpayer dollars
"It's essential that Americans trust their government to protect their taxpayer dollars," the statement continued.
The White House framed the effort as a fight, posting "JOIN THE FIGHT" alongside the vice president's call.
